Thanks For Sharing Your Story and Tips On Table Setting
My Table Setting Experience
August 2007
Hello everyone, I am so excited to share my table setting experience with you. I hope this site has motivated everyone to dare to be different. This is my experience. My table-setting theme is an elegant setting for four. The occasion is very special. My daughter has met a young man and we (my husband and I) are going meet him for the first time. My tablecloth was a gift from a relative, but Kay Unger NY makes the dinnerware.
It has a goldish beige design and is very lightweight. Foreston Trends make my placemats. They have a variety of colors in table linens. My silverware is made by Bellamo China. It is heavy weight durable stainless steel. Red Wine glasses are made by Charleston. Very light weight.
And finally my centerpiece. It is a candle centerpiece with one extra large crystal votive and two med sized. Inside the crystal votives are some gold tone decorative accent beads with a candle down the center. As for the menu, we decided to have Pork Tenderloin, Yellow Rice Pilaf and Peas. I think this menu was very appropriate for the setting and occasion.
I probably would have gotten a funny look if I had served a regular everyday meal like meatloaf. There you have it! A beautiful setting with a delicious meal. What a combination. Now let's see your setting!
